Christine Sinclair cements herself as the top international goalscorer in the history of the sport by notching goal 185 in Olympic Qualifying play. Also, soccer returns to the nation’s capital as Ottawa is awarded a CPL franchise to begin play in April 2020. Oh, and let’s not forget they’re backed by Spanish behemoths Club Atlético de Madrid.
